You know, I never thought I'd have a blog. Yet, here I am.

Having a blog was an assignment, but as I write I realize that it is really a dedication.... to my brother and everything that was, and is, joyous, creative and spontaneous in him. What I have to offer here is a first step toward becoming the fully alive person he always hoped I would be - unafraid, happy, creative, free. Twirling and dancing under the Sequoias, playing like a mermaid in the water, laughing, singing, dancing, writing, making music, making art. Seeing the world as a gigantic entrancing playground of sights and sounds, just like he did.

These tentative excited hopeful little steps are dedicated to you, Tom.....
